ITS BEEN TOO LONG

I know that it has been so long since I posted anything!! My camera broke and I had to ship it away......so sad. I just got it back. I dont have any pics of our vacations, but will hopefully have some from Jamie soon. There is a bunch of updates here of what we have been up to over the summer. Enjoy!!!

FLOWERS EVERYWHERE

So, if you have ever been to my house in the summer you know that I love flowers and plants. I have had so much fun this summer filling pots, flower beds, and my brick entryway planters.

Summer Projects

This fireplace was the worst brick ever!! We took off the insert thing and spray painted it and painted the brick by hand. It soaked up the paint so fast. So much better!!!
This is the spare room. We have all decided that it is the coziest bed in the house. So, here is your very own room if or when anyone comes and visits.
This is our master bathroom. I just wanted a modern touch. I think we got it!!

We have been working so hard on our house. We love doing projects. Ok, so moreso, we love the outcome. I am not at all good at taking before pictures, but just imagine a 1979 built house with no upgrades. That is or was our house. Hope you enjoy!!!

SWING SET FUN

So, my kids have wanted swings FOREVER!!!! We finally got them. My cousin sold us her Rainbow play set!! We were so excited. The kids love it. Three swings-how perfect.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

So, our 4th was quite eventful! We started our day with tons of yard work then off to the beach we went. We went to one of my daycare families house that live right on the beach. The kids played and played. It was beautiful. Thanks Kurt and Paula!!! Then, off to the annual BBQ at the Hoganson's. My whole family joined us with lots of food and fireworks. We then take all the fireworks to our church parking lot, line up our chairs, and let Ross play:)) Thanks Brad and Traci!!

Family Camp at Warm Beach

We had a great time at our family bible camp last week. The kids swam everyday and loved playing with all the other kids. The room was perfect for us and the kids loved the bunks. Even Levi thought it was great!!

Is Summer Coming???

We decided that even though we had lots of thunder this evening, we would practice roasting marshmellows!! Yummy!!
Dana ate her hair with her marshmellow!
Taylor is my sugar girl. She is in heaven here!
Levi is just chillin here with his s'more watching the clouds roll.
We are going on a trip to Wyoming this July and so the girls thought that they would practice their fishing skills. Get ready Grandpa Tom!!!!
