AN EVENTFUL WEEKEND

On Sunday we went to Washington Park on the Puget Sound with my sister and her family. We had a great time even though it was cold....notice my hubby in shorts and tank top. Some things never change!!

We wanted to do something fun on Saturday with the kids since Ross has been working so much lately, so we went to the zoo. We had a great time until we got dumped on by the wonderful Washington rain that always comes at the worst of time. Or should I say All the time!

We had a great time with family and friends at 321 Bounce. We had the entire place to ourselves! The whole place is an inflatable wonderland!!

So, here it is.... almost done. We found some fabulous wall paper that we need to get rid of behind the old cabinets and we still need counter top. Other then that, here is the almost finished product. Here are some before and afters.

New Floors!!

We have finally started the process of replacing the floors in our entire downstairs. The process of nailing each piece into the floor is very tedious! Ross is doing a great job, and I must say I have done all the cutting!! We chose a very hard bamboo that should hold up great with all the kids! Here are some before and afters...... there will be more to come when the kitchen cabinets get here.

The Jonas Brothers and a Limo!!

A good friend of mine invited my girls and I to hang out with them for a night.... We suprised all the kids and met at her house. I told my kids we were just going to play..... Then, someone knocked on the door and it was the limo driver.... not just any limo, but a HUMMER to take us to see the Disney channel's Jonas Brothers. It was a chance of a lifetime.

SNOW DAY

So, unlike all of my midwestern friends and family, we love getting snow here. The difference ??? Well, its still 30 degrees here when it snows, so it isnt so cold that you cant even go outside. We played outside for hours! Another difference here is that if we get any even centimeter of snow, EVERYTHING CLOSES! Schools, jobs, everything. Ok- so not starbucks- we wouldnt want a total catastophe!!

Weekend at Harrison Hot Springs

My girls and I just had a great time in Canada at a wonder ful resort with 23 members of my extended family. We swam, relaxed, and laughed all weekend!
